Zeura Ellen Krambeck

Zeura E. Krambeck, 98, of East Moline, IL, formerly of Moline, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, IL. A visitation will be held Friday, May 11th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline.  A graveside service will be held in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, immediately after the visitation. Memorials may be made to Hope Creek Care Center. Zeura Ellen Hamm was born in Vermont, IL, on November 27, 1919, to Arthur and Greeta (Farr) Hamm.  In Moline, on June 19, 1940, she married John Nicholas Krambeck, who preceded her in death July 21, 2011. Zeura was a busy homemaker, a member of the former First Christian Church in Moline, the Prospect Park Home Extension, and served as an election judge for Rock Island County.  She started the Rock Island County Home Extension in 1941, and served for 64 years.  She enjoyed gardening and was known for her ‘green-thumb”.  Zeura especially loved spending time with her family. Survivors include sons, Gary Krambeck of Denver, CO, and Tim Krambeck of Muscatine, IA; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
