William K Weimer

William 'Bill' Weimer, 75 of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009, at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, December 3rd, at 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. William K. Weimer was born in Moline on October 31, 1934, to William and Edna (Sward) Weimer. On January 26, 1968, in Rock Island, IL, he married Carolyn J. Cantral, who survives. He was self-employed in the carpet & furniture cleaning business, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Moline. In addition to his wife, survivors include: three daughters: Cathy (Terry) Turner of Murray, KY, Karen (Jim) Harris of Fremont, NE, and Linda (Billy) Barber of Silvis, IL; two sisters-in-law: Nancy Willis of Moline, and Ellie Wildermuth of Rock Island, IL; one brother-in-law: Ralph Cantral of Washington, DC; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bob Weimer.
