William Earnest Rosenboom

William 'Billy' Rosenboom, 68, of Rock Island, IL, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at UnityPoint/Trinity Rock Island. William Earnest Rosenboom was born in Rock Island on September 22, 1945, to William Franklin and Brenda (Trimble) Rosenboom. He lived a pure and simple life, and was a gentle person with a keen sense of humor. As a young man, Billy saved his small niece and nephew from being abducted, and true to his humble nature, never spoke of it again. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by two sisters, Cathy Fogle and Geri Wilson, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11th, at 12 Noon, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline.
