William A. Darby

William (Billy) A. Darby, 52, of East Moline, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023.

Billy was born on June 1, 1971, in Silvis, to Lawrence Darby and Betty (Sides) Reekers.

Formerly a worker in Laborer's Local 309, in the final years of his life, he cared for his father.

Billy enjoyed music, tinkering with cars, biscuits and gravy, and most importantly, spending time with his kids.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Jenn) Darby, Milan, IL; son, Chance Darby, Moline, IL; mother, Betty Reekers; stepfather, Norman Reekers; and sister, Jamie Purdy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Darby.

No public services are being held at this time. Future arrangements will be made by Jenn, Chance, and Betty to celebrate Billy's life.
