Wanda L. Reynolds, a cherished pillar of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa. Born in Greenville, Tennessee, on May 9, 1939, to the late Hugh and Geneva (Fox) Maltsberger. Wanda's vibrant spirit and endearing personality touched the lives of all who knew her.
Wanda's life was a testament to the love she shared with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Despite the loss of her parents, beloved stepfather, Roy Devoti, and cherished daughter, Robin, her legacy lives on through her loving sons, Richard "Rick" (Lori) Reynolds of Rock Island, IL, and Ron Reynolds, Milan, IL. Her grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) Terry, Melissa (Mike) Spicer, Justin (Erica) James and Naythan (Ashley) James, will forever carry the memories and wisdom she imparted.
Wanda was a committed employee at Oscar Mayer for many years, where her strong work ethic and friendly nature were highly regarded. Her zest for life extended to her love for bowling and the casino, which brought her joy and relaxation.
A celebration of Wanda's life will take place on April 27, 2024, at the Milan American Legion from 1 to 3 p.m. Family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love in honor of a life well-lived. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
