Vera Esther Ross

Vera Esther Ross, 85, of Peoria, AZ, died October 24, 2007, at Hospice of Arizona in Sun City, AZ. Vera Esther Ross was born in Canada on December 19, 1921, to David and Jane (Hayes) Ross. She was employed as a Key Punch Operator for the City of St. Louis at St. Louis, MO for 19 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star #499 St Louis, MO. Services will be held Tuesday, October 30th, at 11:00 A.M. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Visitation will be held for the hour preceeding the service. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Jeanette Till of Klamath Falls, OR; a brother: Victor Ross of Manchester, IA; Nieces: Paula Ross and Judy Siebert, both of Iowa City, IA, and Debra Till of Klamath Falls, OR; Nephews: Jim Dekker of Silvis, IL, John Dekker of Kankakee, IL, David Ross of Des Moines, IA, Dennis Till of San Francisco, CA, and Rodney Till of Oxford, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Elva Dekker and Wilma Georger; a niece: Linda Till; and three nephews: Patrick Dekker, Eric Siebert, and Frank Till, Jr.
