Uvon L Case

Uvon L. Case, 77, of Moline, IL, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Hope Creek Care Memory Center in East Moline, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 8th, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a memorial service commencing at 4:00. Memorials may be made to Hope Creek Care Memory Center or to In-Touch Adult Day Services. Uvon was born April 1, 1937, in Aledo, IL, to Lee “Don” and Pettis (McCulley) Bigham. She married Cullen R. “Cully” Case on August 24, 1957, in Moline. She was a self-employed beautician in Coal Valley, IL, for 15 years, and then worked at Sundial East Salon for over 26 years. Uvon was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline, and the Mary Ainsworth Chapter of P.E.O. In addition to her husband, “Cully”, survivors include daughters: Cynthia (Mark) Marietta of Bettendorf, IA, and Kimberly Case of Moline; grandchildren: Brittany Marietta and Austen Marietta; sisters-in-law: Sandy Bigham of Ohio, and Sarah Case of Moline; and brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Anne) Case of Australia, and William Case of Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Elaine Bigham, and two brothers, William “Bill” Bigham and Donald Bigham. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Hope Creek Memory Care Center.
