Timothy J. Gray, 62, of East Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at his home. A visitation will be held Monday, January 28th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be graveside at Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, IL, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29th. Memorials may be made to the family for a Kids' Music Program at the Red Stone Room in Davenport, IA. Timothy Jon Gray was born in Moline on November 1, 1950, to Lester and Evelyn Gray. On January 11, 1975, in Hampton, IL, he married Dawn Mann, who survives. He was a 1968 graduate of United Township High School in East Moline. For nearly 30 years, he was a programmer for Iowa Mutual Insurance of Dewitt Iowa. Tim loved music, playing his guitar, attending concerts, and the Chicago sports teams. He especially loved his grandkids. In addition to his wife, Dawn, survivors include: daughters, April (Eric) Edwards of Moline, and Krystal (Bill) Pierce of East Moline; grandchildren: Cody, Kaleb, Trey, and Skylar; sisters: Joan Lopez of East Moline, Sheila McCormick of Charlotte, West Virginia; brothers: Lester Gray, Jr of Burlington, IA, Stanley Gray of East Moline, and Robert Gray of Kyle, TX; cousin, Thelma Morris of East Moline; nephews: Rick Gray of Muscatine, Steven (Lenore) Gray, and Christopher (Melanie) Gray, all of Texas; niece: Katie (Clark) Dugger of Ashburn, VA; three great nieces, and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Velma Gray, and niece and nephew, Penny and George Lopez.
