Timothy Alan Foster

Timothy Alan Foster, 47, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, from fatal injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 1st, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, August 2nd, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund for his daughters, Savanna and Kailyn. Tim was born in Moline on July 19, 1965. He graduated with the Moline High School Class of 1983, and attended Black Hawk College for two years. In 1983, he enlisted in the United States Army 368th Engineer Battalion, and served in Germany, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He then was an active member of the Army Reserves. Tim was a true military man who loved the military. He was employed as a machinist at BMS Manufacturing in Milan, IL, and was a former employee of Ipsco Steel in Montpelier, IA. Tim was a devoted golfer, and took great pleasure hanging out with his long-time "Buddies" every Friday, and taking biking road trips with his friends. Timothy is survived by his mother, Doris Steagall-Foster-Rummells; stepfather, William G Rummells; father, Martin E. Foster; daughters, Savanna Foster and Kailyn Pauley; granddaughter, Kaydence; and half-sisters, Jennifer (Foster) Cartwright and Carolyn (Foster) Davis.
