Terri Gimm

Terri Gimm, 59, of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, February 22, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned at this time. Wendt Funeral Home of Moline, IL, is handling the arrangements for the family. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, 724 – 2nd Avenue West, Milan, IL 61264. Terri was born May 17, 1955, in Rock Island, to Thomas and Violet (Beckhart) Leffel. She attended Rock Island High School, and worked as a waitress in several area restaurants. She loved animals, especially her cats. Survivors include a brother, Martin Leffel, and an aunt, Shirley Smith, both of Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
