Sylvia Irene Naslund

Sylvia Irene (Miller) Naslund passed away, after a short illness, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, IL, on October 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL, on Thursday, October 28th, at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation for one hour prior to the funeral. Gravesite services will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, IL. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America "Quilt to Remember". Sylvia was born in Orwin, PA, on August 12, 1918. A lifelong resident of Moline, Sylvia enjoyed a 62-year marriage with her devoted husband, Edward, before he passed in July of 2003. During the last seven years of her life, Sylvia resided in Bushnell, IL, and most recently, Bickford Cottage in Macomb, IL. She leaves to mourn her passing, three children: Larry of Prairie City, IL, Paul (and Mary) of St. Louis, MO, and Martha Jane (and Michael) Smith of Eugene, OR; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
