Stephanie Kay Cathryn Callaway

Stephanie K Callaway, 64, of Moline, IL, passed away in the presence of friends and family, on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at UnityPoint Trinity West Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, on Wednesday, August 3rd, at 5:00 p.m., with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. Memorials may be made to The Humility of Mary Shelter in Davenport, IA. Stephanie Kay Cathryn Callaway was born in San Antonio, TX, on July 18, 1951, to Steven and Frida (Carstons) Callaway. On July 25, 1970, in Moline, she married Robert N. Christenson. They later divorced. Stephanie was a 1966 graduate of the Villa De Chantal in Rock Island, and graduated from Black Hawk College in Moline with an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Law. She was the owner of Lady Cathryn’s Ceramics, was in charge of Accounts Receivable for St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, and owned Cavalier Thiefdom Kennels. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in East Moline and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline. Stephanie was a professional ceramicist, and a breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She was a lover of all dogs, a good Democrat, and a good friend to all those who came to know her, and she will be sorely missed. Survivors include her two sons, Robert A. Christenson of Rock Island, and Thomas A. Christenson of Moline; a granddaughter, Danielle; a sister, Pamela Jaggers of Arizona; a brother, Fredrick Callaway of Florida; and her x-husband, Bob Christenson of Bettendorf, IA.
