Shirley M Farrier

Shirley Farrier, 78, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, at her home in Moline. Services will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with visitation the same day from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Shirley M. Ludwig was born on May 11, 1930, to Alice Winter in Iowa City, IA. She married Clifford Farrier on July 1, 1950, in Moline. Shirley was a devoted wife and homemaker. She also loved to shop. Survivors include her husband: Clifford Farrier of Moline; two daughters: Kitty Johnson of Moline, and Vanessa (Mike) Lawson of Senora, CA; one son: Alllen (Valerie) Johnson of Villa Park, IL; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister.
