Shirley A Harris

Shirley A Harris, 93, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Kahl Home in Davenport, IA.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, no service will be held.

Memorials may be made to Quad-City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL.

Shirley was born August 30th, 1927, in Davenport, IA, daughter of William and Meta (Ballhorn) Belter. On November 21, 1946 in Davenport, she married Richard S. Harris, who preceded her in death August 24, 2012

She was a homemaker, and was an avid reader, she enjoyed fiction novels, and creating artwork.

Survivors include daughters, Danita Bemis companion (Tim Dunlop) of DeKalb, IL, and Barbara Harris fiance (J.C. Evans) of Davenport, IA; sons, Douglas (Charlotte) Harris of Bettendorf, IA, and Steven Harris of Davenport, IA; twelve grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and was a great-great grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
