Shelly D. Garner

Shelly Garner, 52, of Moline, IL, passed away on November 5, 2020, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL.

Family and friends are invited to attend Shelly’s Celebration of Life which will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Shelly’s daughter’s home address of 250 - 53rd Street, Moline, IL.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Shelly was born in Muscatine, IA on June 17, 1968, to Robert and Judy (Abbott) Weber.  She married Scott Wymer on September 22, 2001 in Colona, IL.

She graduated from Moline High School.  She worked at many gas and convenient stations over the past several years.  Her enjoyments included reading books, playing pool with friends and playing on her tablet.  She also loved playing and hanging out with her daughters and grandchildren and very much enjoyed teasing her son-in-law and nephews.  Shelly was like a Mom to many and loved by all, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her ex-husband Scott Wymer of Davenport, IA; daughters Marrissa (Joey) Kennedy, Moline, IL, Ivy Kirbey, East Moline, IL and Justice (Jake) Gruner, Rock Island, IL; three grandchildren Jackson , Kaylee Ann and Jermiah of Moline, IL;  father Robert Weber, Moline, IL ; sisters Stephanie (Babe) Garner, Moline, IL and Theresa Pairrett, Rock Island, IL; niece Samantha (Tony) Alongii, Rock Island, IL; nephews Jonathan (Jane) Garner, East Moline, IL, James (Alison) Puckett, Moline, IL; two great nephews, a great niece and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sons, her mother, Judy Weber, sister Lola Holden, grandparents Robert and Betty Johanson, grandfather Freddie Abbott, Uncle Kevin Abbott, Niece Kayla Puckett, father-in-law William “Butch” Wymer.
