Sharon "Cheri" J. Davis-Williams, age 70, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at UnityPoint (Trinity) in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be Monday, June 24th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Tuesday, June 25th, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial in Greenview Memorial Gardens in Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family. Cheri was born in Moline, IL, on July 23, 1942, to Ozzie and Roberta (Husky) Davis. On June 1, 1996, in Bullhead, AZ, she married Stanley Richard Williams, who preceded her in death February 25, 2013. She had worked for Fireman's Insurance as an underwriter, and had her own insurance office in Abingdon, IL. After moving to the Quad Cities, she worked for Ben Farrar Insurance and Lohman Brothers Insurance. She enjoyed traveling, and loved to shop and she was The Mega Shopper. Survivors include, sons: Allen (Shelley) Davis of Silvis, IL, and Bill Davis of Anamosa, IA; a sister, Janet (Bobbie) Manasco of Hillsdale, IL; brothers Dean and Norman Davis, both of Moline; grandchildren: Jami (Chris) Gordon of Geneseo, IL, Aaron Davis of East Moline, IL, Adrianne LaGrange of Davenport, IA, Nichole Kespohl of Moline, Christopher Kespohl of Silvis, Kayla (Andy) Agan of East Moline, and Alex Wark of Houston, TX; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ron Davis, and her beloved dog "Gigi".
