Sally J Boley

Sally J Boley, 78, of Moline, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Unity Point, Rock Island.

At her request, cremation rites will be accorded. Services are pending.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois, 640 N. Lasalle Drive, Suite 280, Chicago, IL 60654.

Sally was born in Davenport on March 28, 1945, to Pete and Beulah Bishop. She graduated from the Davenport School District and was employed as an Office Manager for Paul H. Wessel Company and Collins & Company for many years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and embroidery work as well.

She is survived by a daughter Wendi (Mrs. Michael) Fahrenkrug Sr., Davenport, IA; son Donald M. Hesseltine Jr., Blue Grass, IA; four grandchildren, Michael (MJ) Fahrenkrug Jr., Donald Hesseltine III, Brent Hesseltine, and Ashly Hesseltine; nine great-grandchildren which include Owen Michael Fahrenkrug, Zack Lee Fahrenkrug, and Jaxon Jacob Walters; brother Joe Bishop, FL; a life long friend Linda Ripple, and Jennie and Robert Berry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Boley; son, Daniel Hesseltine, parents Pete and Beulah Bishop; three sisters Mary, Miss Priss (Helen), and Lucy; and four brothers Willy, Wally, Wes, and David.
