Ruth N Ehlers

Ruth Ehlers, 99, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, October 31, 2022, at ProMedica, Moline,IL.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Ruth was born April 30, 1923, in Rock Island, IL, daughter of Ray and Opie (Campbell) Romine. On October 20, 1940, she married Raymond Ehlers, who preceded her in death.

Ruth worked at DeSaulniers Printing Company and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Milan. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and crocheting.

Survivors include son Lee (Donna) Ehlers of Moline, IL; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild; three sisters: Betty Paulsen of Rock Island, IL, Nancy Betty of California, and Sharon Woods also of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Rita Nevins and Alice Rosenthal, and one brother Ramond Romine.
