Roxanne Boyum

Roxanne Boyum, 75, of Coal Valley, IL, died Friday, April 20, 2018, at UnityPoint Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Roxanne Weingartz was born in Rock Island, on December 24, 1942, to Jack and Virginia (Swisher) Weingartz.  On June 10, 1966, in Rock Island, she married Robert Boyum.  Roxanne graduated in 1960 from Rock Island High School, and graduated from Augustana College, Black Hawk College, and Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.  She was a registered E.R. nurse at Illini Hospital (now Genesis Illini Campus) in Silvis, IL. In addition to her husband, survivors are a son, Christopher Boyum, and grandson, Auryn Boyum, both of Coal Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John.
