Ronald A. Davis, 72, of Kewanee, IL, formerly of Colona, IL, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Genesis Medical Center East in Davenport, IA. Services will be Monday, July 12th, at 12:00 Noon, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Masonic Services will be held at graveside by Silvis Lodge 898 AF & AM. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the State Road Community Church in Cambridge, IL. Ronald A. Davis was born in Peoria, IL, on August 1, 1937, to Everett A. and Roberta (Huskey) Davis. In 1958, he was married to Leila H. Johnson, who preceded him in death on August 18, 2002. On June 15, 2004 in Kewanee, IL, he married Marsha S. Bickers. He attended Moline schools, and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a mechanic for the Case-I.H. East Moline Works for 32 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of State Road Community Church in Cambridge, IL, Silvis Masonic Lodge 898 AF & AM, and U.A.W. 1304 in East Moline. He very much enjoyed working on cars. In addition to his wife, Marsha, survivors include: daughters, Ronda Bearce of Moline, and Mindy Klein of Kewanee; sons, Marvin "Buck" (Beth) Lange of Silvis, IL, and Joe Klein of Sheffield, IL; sisters, Janet (Bob) Manasco of Hillsdale, IL and Sherry (Stan) Williams of Moline; brothers, Norm (Deb) Davis, and E. Dean (Sue) Davis, all of Moline; twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and a son and a daughter: Ronald Davis and Nancy Mielke.
