Rod Tucker

Rod Tucker, 39, of Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Trinity Medical Center West in Rock Island, IL. Rodney Warren Tucker was born January 11, 1969, to Allen and Karen (Kester) Loeffler in Moline. He married Angulia Fisher in Moline, on May 16, 1992. Rod was a truck driver for Environmental Services, Inc. Previously, he had worked for Marvis Tree Service for 11 years, and Kent Countryman for 9 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stockcars, photography, funny jokes, and visiting with friends. He loved his pets, and was a devoted husband and father. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Wednesday, August 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery near Edgington, IL. Memorials may be made to the family for an Education Fund for his son. Survivors include: his wife, Angie; a son, Brandon Tucker; his mother, Karen Anderson; two sisters: Melissa Stantton and Jill Tucker, both of Moline; two aunts: Sandra Ayers and Janeen (Cara) Cameron, both of Washington, IA; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
