Robert Stogsdill

Robert Stogsdill, 70, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, and burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale, IL. Arrangements are being handled by Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Robert Stogsdill was born in Princeton, IL, on July 19, 1941, to Samuel and Bernice (Smith) Stogsdill, He attended schools in Moline, and was a truck driver for the A.D.Huesing Company. He was a member of the East End Club, and enjoyed Rolle Bolle, NASCAR, John Wayne movies, going to auctions in Milan, and 'hanging-out' at Bridgeway Auto Parts. Survivors include: sister, Joyce (Donald) Bartrom; brother, Jerry (Carol) Stogsdill; aunt, Lucy Vroman; and loving nieces and nephews: Tonya, Darcy, Jack, Dan, Shelly, Jerry, and Cheryl; and loving cousins: Mary, Jim, Jenny, and Joan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack.
