Robert Petersmith

Robert “Bob” Michael Petersmith, 70, of Atoka, OK, formerly of Rock Island, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Atoka. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, February 1st, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Inurnment will be Friday, February 2nd, at 10:00 a.m., at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery in Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family or to the American Cancer Society. Bob was born in Rock Island, IL, on January 4, 1948, to Robert and Virginia (Moran) Petersmith. He was a devout Catholic. He served in the U.S. Navy, and loved to travel. He was a real estate agent/broker, LLC in Illinois and Florida. Survivors include his husband, Clinton Leo Robbins of Atoka, OK; his son, Matt Petersmith of Moline, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by Cynthia “Cindy” Petersmith, his first spouse, his parents, and his two sisters, Dianna Gunlock and Mary Lynn Golliher.
