Robert "Todd" Parr, 46, of Peoria, IL, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at his home. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21st, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Services and interment will then be held at 11:30 a.m., at Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Riverside United Methodist Church, 712 - 16th Street, Moline, IL 61265, or Sharon Health Care - Woods, 3223 West Richwoods Blvd, Peoria, IL 61606. Todd was born in Rock Island, IL, on December 26, 1965, the son of Harry Parr and Martha Hollowell (Kinnard). On October 18, 2001, in Peoria, IL, he married Helen Temple, who survives. He attended Moline Senior High School, Black Hawk College, and Scott Community College. He was a member of the Moline Boys Choir, and Boy Scouts of America. Todd was an avid swimmer/diver, loved music and singing, enjoyed playing pool, and boating with his family. Todd went bowling at every opportunity with his lifelong lucky bowling ball that he received for Christmas when he was a youngster, and had become quite a good bowler over the past several years. He loved people, and could strike up a conversation with most anyone at the drop of a hat. He leaves behind his wife, Helen; mother, Martha (John) Kinnard; father, Harry R. (Beverly) Parr; step-sisters, Krista (Paul) Klauer, and Kymberly Steelandt; and a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dr. Harry R. and Marie Parr, and maternal grandparents, Lindford and Imogene Hollowell.
