Rex Everett Mockmore

Rex Mockmore, 52, of Moline, IL, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Services will be graveside on Saturday, June 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Carbon Cliff Cemetery in Carbon Cliff, IL, with a visitation at the gravesite from 9:30 until time of the service. Wendt Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family. Rex Mockmore was born in Rock Island, IL, on June 29, 1958, the son of Raymond and Hazel (Heath) Mockmore. He graduated from Moline High School in the Class of 1976. Rex owned and operated a lawn mowing service. He is survived by his father Raymond; brothers: George and Raymond Mockmore, both of Tennessee, and Charlie (Carol) Mockmore of Moline; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
