Rebecca Louise Brennan

Rebecca Brennan, 73, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016, at UnityPoint-Trinity West in Rock Island, IL. Services will be Tuesday, March 1st, at 12:00 noon, with a two-hour visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service, at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, 3303 – 60th Street, Moline. Burial will be in Rock River View Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Rebecca Louise Fors was born in Chicago, IL, on February 25, 1943, to Ted and Ruth Fors. On June 19, 1965, in Moline, she married Donald E. Brennan, who survives. Becky graduated with the Moline High School Class of 1961. She was a member of Homewood Evangelical Free Church, where she was active in church organizations, and the AWANA Group. She belonged to the Postal Auxiliary and to Kings Daughters where she volunteered at the Store in Moline. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitch, and loved playing card games and Bingo. In addition to her husband, Donald, survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Ken) Friberg of Dubuque, IA; and three grandchildren, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Emily.
