Raymond John Nacin

Raymond Nacin, 68, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Moline, IL. Services will be Friday, November 19th, at 2:30 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a visitation for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be immediately following at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Raymond John Nacin, Jr. was born in Rock Island on May 22, 1942, to Raymond J. and Laverne Nacin. He attended Rock Island High School, and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1964. Raymond was employed as an Actuary for several large insurance and consulting companies. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed fishing, and was a loving and generous person. Raymond is survived by his mother, Laverne Nacin of Rock Island, IL; brother Robert Nacin of Taylor Ridge, IL; sister Judy Nagle of East Moline, IL; daughter Elissa Thompson of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Joette Murray of Chicago, IL; son David Nacin of Tallahassee, FL; two nieces and four grandchildren.
