Phillip C Wells

Phillip C. Wells, Sr., 76, of Moline, IL, formerly of New Windsor, IL passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his home. Services will be Thursday, July 26th, at 1:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to Honor Flights of the Quad Cities. Phillip was born May 24, 1942, in Elroy, WI, the son of Earl and Ellamae (Cole) Revels.  He was first married to Sharon Reed, and later, in 1976, he married Ruth McGruder. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 until 1965, and was stationed in Germany. He retired in 1992, after thirty years, from Case-IH in East Moline.  Phillip enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, and going to the casino, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Phillip (Kathy) Wells, Larry Caldwell, Jerry (Martha) Caldwell, Joan Caldwell, James (Sherry) Morrison, and Paula (Brian) Bird; siblings, Bill (Glenda) Revels, Teresa (Scott) Thalacker, Dorothy Jenkins, Kathy (Mike) Henry, Verna Cox, Orville (Joanne) Revels, Phyllis Mitchell, Wally (Leifa) Revels, and Sheila (Bob) Green; a sister-in-law, Linda Wells; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
