Pearl L. Zessin, 77, of Moline, IL, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, April 29th, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Pearl Louise Garrison was born in Peoria, IL, on July 4, 1932, to Clyde and Grace (Brooks) Garrison. She attended school in Peoria, and had secretarial/accounting training. On August 28, 1948, in Peoria, she married Raymond G. Zessin, who preceded her in death June 3, 1984. During her life, she worked for Litton & Litton, Alcon Excavation, and Foster Excavating. She was last employed by Dixon Plastics, retiring in 1993 after 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, plants, piano, and Suduko. Survivors include: her son: Douglas Zessin of Moline; a sister: Ruby (Harold) Zessin of Trivoli, IL; two grandchildren: Lisa Webb and Connie Greenwood; and seven great-grandchildren: Corey, Ryan, Brandynn, Jennifer, Sarah, Grant, and Katie. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Diana Longueville and DeVon Rogers; and a grandson: Sean Rogers.
