Paula Christine Long

Paula Christine Long, 64, of Silvis, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, January 17th, 2022, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL .

Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from 4-7pm at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Services will be held at 9 am, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or American Cancer Society.

Paula was born February 1st, 1957, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of William Long (bonus mom, Janet) and Beverly (James) Lee (bonus dad, Dan Lee). Throughout her career, Paula worked for various collection agencies including Midwest Title Loan from which she retired. She was a member of Gilda's Club in Davenport. Paula enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, movies, reality TV shows, and the holidays but most of all, she loved being an Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews; she would always give them her "Auuunnt Paula hug."

Survivors include her father, William (Janet) Long and mother, Beverly Lee; brothers: Billy (Tammy) Long, Moline, IL, and Dan (Joan) Long, Aurora, CO, a "bonus" sister, Christine Lee Townsend, Moline, IL; "bonus" brothers: Darin and Brett Davis; nieces: Alaina, Brianna, Chelsea, Christine, Ashley, Jessica and Maegan; nephews: Dylan, Douglas, Brandon, Jonathan and Christopher; great-nieces: Ivy, Lilith, Eden, Faith, Sierra, Rose, Madilyn, Erin, Serenity and Bryanne; great-nephews: Atticus, Javon, Josh, Sammy, Leonardo, Luke, Hugh, Tristan, Dominic, Hayden, and Owen.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Belinda and her "bonus" dad, Dan Lee
