Paul T. Michl, 57, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held Friday, August 24th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Animal Aid Shelter, 239 - 50th Street, Moline, IL. Paul T. Michl was born in Clinton, IA, on December 23, 1954, to Edwin and Evelyn (Hirl) Michl. He graduated from Moline High School, and was employed for 30 years as a machinist at John Deere Cylinder Works, retiring in 2010. He was a member of Friends Circle of Moline, and UAW Local 1434. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and his cats, Taz and Thomas, and he so enjoyed time spent with his many friends and family members. Survivors include: his Mother, Evelyn Michl; sisters: Anne (Doug) Schmidt of Clinton, IA, Mary Michl of Moline, Susan (Michael) Perez of LaSalle, IL, Monica (Bonnie) Michl of Anchorage, AK, and Molly (Brian) Bauer of Mukwongo, WI; brothers: Joseph Michl of Corvallis, OR, Mark (Renee) Michl of Milan, IL, James Michl of San Jose, CA, Geoffrey (Pam) Michl of Moline, David (Terri) Michl of Moline, Martin Michl of Clinton, IA, and Carlos Barajas of Moline; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father: Edwin Michl, and his soulmate, Cindy.
