Patricia Ann Truitt-Martin

Patricia Ann Truitt-Martin, 59, of Eldridge, IA, formerly of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16th, at 4:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service. Memorials may be made to the family. Patricia Ann Truitt was born in Moline, on April 8, 1952, to Richard and Elizabeth (Hartshorn) Truitt. She was employed in Housekeeping for 21 years at Genesis Medical Center, and also cleaned private homes and businesses for many years. She enjoyed working, but her passion was to work to shop. She really loved to shop. Survivors include: her daughter: Amy (Clint) Denney of Geneseo, IL; a son: Mark (Amber) Truitt of Davenport, IA; and seven grandchildren: Andrew, Zachary, Mark, Lauren, Madison, Logan, and David.
