Pamela S. Heider

Pamela S. Heider, 79, of Moline, IL, passed away on Friday, February 21st, 2025, in East Moline, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a visitation from 10-11:45 AM on Friday, February 28th, 2025, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. All are invited to a brief funeral service following the visitation. A private family burial service will be held on Arsenal Island.

Pamela was born Pamela S. Breedlove in Peoria, IL, on January 26th, 1946, the daughter of Alfred and Aleen Breedlove. She married Richard D. Heider on March 1, 1975. He preceded her in death on August 1st, 2016.

Pamela graduated from Forman High School in Manito, IL, in 1964 and received a Secretarial Receptionist degree from Midstate College of Commerce in Peoria, IL, in 1965. She held several secretarial positions over the years before working for the Augustana College Bookstore. She last worked for the YMCA's SACC program from 1999 to 2012. She was active in PTA and also a den mother when her boys were in Scouts.

Pamela was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for several years. She also volunteered for the Youth Hope organization.

Pamela was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who truly enjoyed her family. She is survived by her two sons, Jason (David) and Jeremy (Candy) Heider, her grandchildren, Sarah and Maddux Heider, and one sister, LaRonn Jones.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

The family requests memorials be made in Pamela's name to the American Cancer Society.
