Natalie Kajdacsi, 76, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline. A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Moline Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Moline.
Memorials may be made to the great-grandchildren's college fund.
Natalie was born on March 21, 1946, in Bratislava-Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Theodore and Elizabeth Dufinec. On November 9, 1965, in New York City she married Frank Kajdacsi, who preceded her in death in July 2003.
She lived in New York City for ten years before moving to Moline in 1976. Natalie was a cosmetologist who owned her salon and worked at various salons in the Quad-City area.
She was a well-known local artist known as Natasha, and she painted an ostrich egg that was displayed in the White House and a goose egg she painted that hung on the National Christmas Tree in the White House.
Natalie "Natasha" was a Moline's Left Bank Art League member and had paintings with private collectors throughout the United States and Europe. Her paintings have been accepted and shown in many jured fine art shows.
Survivors include sons; Frank (Tracy) Kajdacsi, La Marque, TX, and Garry (Melissa) Kajdacsi, Rock Island, IL; grandchildren Brittney and friend Christian Laursen, Troy, NY, and Amber Kajdacsi, Houston, TX; and great-grandson, Laszio.
