Nancy L Gardner

Nancy L. Gardner, 62, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at UnityPoint Trinity West Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 6th, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. There will be no services. Inurnment will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Nancy L. Johnson was born in Moline, IL, on October 10, 1954, to Donald O. and Bette I. (Burgess) Johnson. She graduated from Moline High School, and worked for a time as a teller at the former Black Hawk State Bank, then as a teller at Quad City Downs Racetrack, and then retired after working in home care for ten years as a visiting Certified Nurse’s Aide. Survivors include three sisters: Beth (Cliff) Cinadr, Virginia Johnson, and Suzanne (James) Rieder; a niece, Abbie Rieder; an uncle, Milton Johnson; a special friend, Dale Warren; and many Johnson cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
