Nancy B. Sweet

Nancy B. Sweet, 94, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Hope Creek Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in East Moline, IL.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A family Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date. Memorials may be made to Glaucoma Research Foundation.

Nancy was born June 11, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI, to Orville and Irma (Lohr) Brassington.

Nancy graduated from Wauwatosa High School, Class of "1945", and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She worked as an office administrator at Nellis Feed until her retirement in 1987. Nancy loved playing the game of bridge her entire adult life. She participated in Curves for many years in Florida until 2013, and she loved swimming in her pool in the warm Florida sun. Mom loved her family and grandchildren. She was so excited to have a new great-granddaughter born in June.

Survivors include her daughter: Susan (Brian) Buckrop of Moline, IL; grandchildren: Breanne (Blake) Boster, and Kullan Buckrop (Evan Phillips); and a great-granddaughter: Corinne Boster.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Sweet who passed away in 1982.
