Monte L Dual

Monte L. Dual, 76, of Moline, IL. died on Monday, December 3, 2007, at his home. Monte L. Dual was born on January 4, 1931, to Richard and Iva (Straw) Dual in Gridley, CA. He married Donna M. Kleinau on October 25, 1993, in Norfolk, Virginia. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Monte was an Operating Engineer for 55 years, working for Langman Construction Co. and several other construction companies in the area. He was a member of the Rock River Association, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1839 in Silvis, IL, and a life member of Local #150 of the Operators Union in Rock Island, IL. He enjoyed history, and loved to cook. Visitation will be Thursday, December 6th, from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be held Friday, December 7th, at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Moline. Memorals may be made to the family. Survivors include: his wife: Donna Dual; a son: Rock (Brenda) Dual of Moline; three grandsons: Albert, Ammon, and Monte Dual; two grand daughters Lacey and Leeann Dual; and one great-grandchild: Delainee Dual. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Dixie Dual.
