Michael Schultz

Michael Schultz, 78, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, March 31, 2019, at his home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 5 th , from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a Masonic Service at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Moline.  Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or QC Paws. Michael Schultz was born November 29, 1940, in Rock Island, IL, son of William David and Darlene (Liedtke) Schultz.  Mike owned and operated Schultz Heating and Air Conditioning for over thirty-five years.  He was a Past Master of the Doric Lodge 319, and was also a member of London Lodge 848 in Silvis, IL.  He had a great love of airplanes, traveling to the Air Show in Oshkosh, WI, for fifteen years in a row. Survivors include his children, Robert (Jody) Schultz of Moline, Peggy Carpenter of Rock Island, Scott Schultz and Lisa Schultz, both of Lexington KY, and John Reeves of Olathe, KS; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Bonnie Schultz Dray, and a son, Mike Schultz.
