Meredith A Kurtz

Meredith A Kurtz, 91, of Moline, IL, passed away Saturday, February 6th, 2021, at Unity Point in Bettendorf, IA.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL.

Memorials may be made to All Saints Church in Moline, or Arrow Head Ranch in Coal Valley, IL.

Meredith A. Eipper was born in Moline, IL on June 14th, 1929, daughter to Daniel and Ruth (Skelton) Eipper. On August 11th, 1950 in Moline she married Charles F. Kurtz who preceded her in death on April 2, 2017.

She graduated from Moline High School, and attended Augustana College in Rock Island. She was the Children's Librarian at the Moline Public Library. She was a member of the Carolyn Getz Circle of Kings Daughters, the Library Guild, and a member of All Saints Church in Moline.

Survivors include her son, Charles "Scott" (Dixie) Kurtz of Bettendorf, IA; daughter, Lisa Perry of Moline; grandchildren: Elyse (Brian) Moriarty, Evan Kurtz and Sarah Perry; great-granddaughter, Stella Moriarty; and sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Eipper of Littleton, CO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son-in-law; Russ Perry, and brothers; Tom and James Eipper.
