Maylou Catherine Andresen

Maylou Andresen, 85, of Rock Island, IL, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A private graveside service will be held at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island in Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Care Center Activities Fund, or to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Maylou Catherine Jones was born in Colona Township, IL, on November 26, 1925, to Richard and Easter Bell (Forth) Jones. On May 11, 1973, in DeWitt, IA, she married Darreld G. Andresen. She was employed by Lohse Automotive for many years as a bookkeeper. In addition to her husband, Darreld, survivors are: daughter, Linda (Wayne) Chapman of West Des Moines, IA; son, Richard (Cheri) Burgston of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren: Brad (Kris) Chapman of EauClaire, WI, Amy (Reggie) Stalzer of West Des Moines, IA, and Lisa (Jeff) Nyberg of St. Charles, MO; and five great-grandchildren.
