Mary Lou Reinhart

Mary Lou Reinhart, 81, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Genesis Illini Campus in Silvis, IL. Services will be Friday, July 29th, at 2:00 p.m., at Wendt Funera Home in Moline, with visitation from 12 noon until time of the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association. Mary Lou Stichter was born in Davenport, IA, on December 31, 1929, to Henry and Lila (Sweeney) Stichter. She was married to Ernest O'Brian, and later, on October 24, 1968, in LeClair, IA, she married Kenneth H. Reinhart, who preceded her in death November 18, 1997. She worked as a key punch operator at American Air Filter for 22 years, retiring in 1985. Mary Lou was a former member of the Valley Sports Car Club, and enjoyed NASCAR racing. She was a Dale Earnhart fan, and supported local driver, Gary Reinhart. She is survived by her son, Steven (Bonnie)O'Brian of Rock Island, IL, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cindy, and a son, Dennis.
