Mary Lee Rumler

Mary Lee Rumler, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA.Services will be Saturday, June 30 th , at 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the services beginning at 9:00.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the Clarissa Cook Hospice House. Mary Lee Hulett was born August 2, 1931, in Macomb, IL, daughter of Elmer and Mary (Jackson) Hulett.  On March 25, 1950, she married Williams R. Rumler, who preceded her in death July 20, 2009. Mary’s first job was at her father’s restaurant, the Avilon Café. She then worked at Marando’s, the Red Carpet Club, and finally was the head hostess at the Rock Island Arsenal Officers Club.  She liked her card clubs, and she especially enjoyed crocheting for the new babies in the family.  Mary loved spending time with the family in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and staying at their cabin in Bagley, WI. Survivors include sons, Tim (Val) Rumler of Moline and Brett (Laura) Rumler of Davenport, IA; daughter, Lora (Mike) Weber of Tulsa, OK; daughter-in-law, Jane Rumler of Moline; grandsons, Zachary Rumler, Casey Rumler, Caleb Rumler, all of Moline, Ryan (Jackie) Rumler of Coal Valley, IL, and Seth (Amanda) Weber of Kiefer, OK; granddaughters, Joey Rumler of East Moline, IL, Lee Ann Martinez of Moline, Monica Rumler of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Naomi (Tom) Brockus of Sapulpa, OK, and Rachel Burosh, of Kiefer, OK; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Vicki (Larry) Rumler of Moline; a brother-in-law, Warren Jennings of East Moline, IL; a sister-in-law, Carmen Rumler of Moline; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard, a great-granddaughter, a great-grandson, and two sisters.
