Mary Francess Siebenmann

Mary Francess Siebenmann, 89, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Hope Creek Continuing Care Center in East Moline, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 1811 – 53rd Street, Moline, IL 61265. Mary Francess Hansen was born in Moline on July 5, 1928, daughter of Carl and Capitola Blanche Hansen. She graduated from Moline High School, and the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietary Science and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition. On June 17, 1950, she married Frederic Jean Siebenmann, Jr, who survives. She was a member of Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Moline, and enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. In addition to Fred, her husband of sixty-seven years, survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Patsy) Lee Cummings-Siebenmann, and Kathleen Francess Siebenmann; her son, Frederic Jean (Melody Sweet) Siebenmann III; sisters, Marjorie Diehl and Carol Lee Blackburn; grandchildren, Nathaniel Cummings, Patrick Jean Cummings, and Allison Siebenmann; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Cummings, Macey Cummings, Patrick Jean Cummings, Jr, and Finley Cummings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
