Marjorie Jane Goodman

Marjorie Goodman, 88, of Rock Island, IL, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at UnityPoint-Trinity West in Rock Island. Visitation will be Monday, January 20th, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Tuesday, January 21st, at 10:30 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4800 Kennedy Drive, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Estates Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to the church. Marjorie Jane Carroll was born in East Moline, IL, on July 1, 1925, to George and Vera (Carson) Carroll. She was bookkeeper for many years at the Rock Island Arsenal Commissary. Survivors include: daughters, Nancy DeHaven of Davenport, IA, Janice DeHaven of Chicago, and Hope DeHaven-Carlson of Viola, IL; a son, Eddie DeHaven of Rock Island; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Wassell of East Moline, Darlene Hamm of Rock Island, and Betty Beck; a brother, Ernest Carroll of Erie, IL; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and a son, Terry.
