Marjorie A Ulman

Marjorie Ulman, 87, of Rock Island, IL, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care in Rock Island, IL. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 31st, at 11:00 a.m., at Rose Lawn Estates in Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Marjorie A. Hooker was born in Paris, IL, on January 28, 1925, to Eugene and Eleanor (Eden) Hooker. On June 24, 1946, in Moline, she married Donald Ulman, who preceded her in death in 1987. She worked as a waitress for a time, at the Best Ever Cafe, and the Quality Cafe. She was a member of the Moline Moose Lodge, and enjoyed bowling and dancing. Survivors include: her son, Keith Ulman of Davenport, IA; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Austine; and a sister: Evelyn Wise of Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, and two brothers.
