Marilyn Ruth Rosenberg

Marilyn Rosenberg, 82, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at her home. Family services will be Tuesday, May 21st, at 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. There will be a one-hour visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery in Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, or to a charity of the donor's choice. Marilyn Ruth Rosenberg was born in Moline on July 17, 1930, to Benjamin and Mable (Anderson) Rosenberg. She graduated from Moline High School in the Class of 1948, and attended Black Hawk College. She was employed as a secretary for Deere & Company for 36 years, retiring in 1984. Survivors include: her sister, Beatrice Rosenberg of Moline; nieces and nephews, Tom Spiegel and Jack & Kate Spiegel, all of Moline, Kathleen Spiegel of Austin, TX, Joe & Barbara Spiegel of Hoffman Estates, IL, Patricia & Ron Andrews of Marietta, GA, Rebecca Foley of Rock Island, Theresa and Kevin Peschang of Milan, IL, Patrick & Pamela Rosenberg of Annawan, IL, Michael & Teri Rosenberg of East Moline, IL, Gary Anderson of Moline, and Cheryl & C.W. Lehew of Punta Gorda, FL; fourteen great-nieces and nephews, and seven great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Bernard, Russel, Willard, and Jack Rosenberg, and sisters: Vivian Rosenberg, Jane Anderson, Carol Spiegel, and Joyce Strutz. The family wishes to extend special thanks to caregivers from Golden Dreams Home Care, Trinity Visiting Nurses, and Palliative Hospice Care.
