Marcella P Lind Rosendahl

Marcella P. Lind Rosendahl, 94, of Holland, MI, formerly of Moline, died June 10, 2015 in Zeeland, MI. Services will be Monday, June 15th, at 11:00 am, with a one-hour visitation from 10:00 am until time of the service, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Burial will be at the National Cemetery on Arsenal Island in Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the Kings Daughters and Sons, Circle 06. Marcella P. Bloom was born in Moline on July 28, 1920, to Axel and Estelle (Johnson) Bloom. After graduating from Moline High School, she married Robert C. Lind on July 16, 1942. She worked as a secretary at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 20 years. After an early retirement, she and Bob moved to a log cabin on Eagles Nest Lake #2, outside of Ely, MN, for the summer, and Bradenton, FL, in the winter. She was a member of Plymouth-Gordon Church, later named Hope United Church of Christ in Moline, for many years. After 49 years of marriage, Bob died on July 25, 1991. On August 12, 2000, she married Robert E. Rosendahl, moving to Holland, MI, in the summer, and continuing to live in Bradenton, FL, during the winter. They took many cruises and trips together. Survivors include her husband, Bob, and his children; nephew, James Marsh of East Moline, IL; nieces, Judy Ramsay of Moline, and Eden Skye of Fairfield, IA; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tori Marsh of Longview, WA, Gina Marsh and Brian (Liz) Ramsay, all of Moline, and Nathan (Colleen) Swanson of Elmhurst, IL. In addition to her first husband, Bob Lind, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, LaVerne Marsh.
