Marcella June Last

Marcella June “Tuddy” Last, 95, of Rock Island, IL, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Cremation rites will be accorded.  There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be made to Unity Point Hospice. Marcella was born November 2, 1922, in Muscatine, IA, daughter of Charles Elmer and Dora Mae (Abbott) Chadd.  She married Robert L. Stanger, Sr., and gave birth to Robert L. Stanger, Jr., and Charles R. Stanger.  After the death of Mr. Stanger, Sr., she married Arles H. Thode, and had two daughters, Donna Marie Kresin, and Cynthia June Rigg. Later in life, she married Warren E.Last, and the couple made their home in Rock Island. Marcella was a homemaker, and was a member of the Moline Vikings. In addition to her children, survivors include many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, three sisters, and five brothers. The family extends a special thank you to Unity Point Hospice staff.
