Lori L. Carlson, 53, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association. Lori L. Dye was born in Rock Island, IL, on July 13, 1956, to Bill and Billie (Peters) Dye. She graduated from Moline High School with the Class of 1974. In 1976, in Rock Island, she married Gary Carlson. She was employed as a clerk for the former Jaydon Distributing Company in Milan, IL, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed bowling and playing softball, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. Survivors include: her Father: Bill Dye; a daughter: Breanne Carlson of Des Moines, IA; a son: Dustin Carlson of Rock Island; a sister: Cathy Bollaert of Moline; a brother: Terry Dye of Silvis, IL; and a grandson: Alex Carlson. She was preceded in death by her mother.
