Lois Amy Decker, 93, of Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Amber Ridge Assisted Living Residence in Moline. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be in Camp Butler Military Cemetery in Springfield, IL, on Tuesday, February 21st at 2:00 p.m.. Lois Logsdon was born in Hillsboro, IL on February 26, 1923, to Charles Leroy and Mary Victoria (Bailey) Logsdon. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. On March 19, 1949, in Rock Island, IL, she married Merlin Decker, who preceded her in death. Lois was a practicing beautician in the Quad-Cities for many years. She was very involved at the Presbyterian Churches in Hillsboro and Coal Valley. She liked arts and crafts, crocheting afghans, and sewing quilts. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, and always made lots of homemade jellies. Survivors include her children, Karl (Penny) Decker of Des Moines, WA, Karon (Chuck) Casillas of Chandler, AZ, and Keith (Marlene) Decker of Rock Island, IL; six grandchildren: Amy Decker, Cari Decker, Renee Grams, Sarah Fielding, Aaron Casillas, and Darin Decker; and eleven great-grandchildren: Joseph, Kayla, Evan, Hannah, Christian, Pippa, Elodie, Brody, Mila, Reagan, and Lily; and a sister, Opal Minteer of Moline. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
